Ellen Sharp is a vibrant and dedicated driving instructor based in Chester, and a proud member of the Nigel Richards Driving School team. With a natural enthusiasm and a genuine passion for helping people achieve independence through driving, Ellen has quickly built a reputation for her encouraging, energetic, and learner-focused approach.

Ellen brings both structure and warmth to every lesson, combining quality instructional knowledge with a motivating presence that keeps her learners engaged and confident behind the wheel. She specialises in manual lessons and is especially passionate about supporting anxious or first-time drivers to believe in themselves and succeed.

Having always enjoyed the freedom and skill of driving, Ellen finds deep satisfaction in seeing her pupils progress—from their first lesson to holding their pass certificate in hand.

Outside of her lessons, Ellen is a proud mum, and a big fan of music and podcasts—especially those about psychology, education, and learning styles. This curiosity about how people learn fuels her creative teaching style and allows her to adapt to each individual pupil.
