Craig Barron-Johnson 

Craig is a friendly and approachable manual driving instructor with Nigel Richards Driving School, proudly covering the Wrexham area. His calm confidence, passion for teaching, and love of driving make him a great fit for pupils who want structured lessons with a personal touch.

Craig’s journey with NRDS started long before he joined the team—he passed his own driving test with Nigel Richards 19 years ago. That full-circle moment now fuels his passion for giving learners the same confidence-building experience he had as a pupil.

For Craig, the thrill of helping others succeed is what makes instructing so rewarding. Whether it’s helping a nervous beginner find their confidence or guiding a learner to test success, he takes real pride in each step of the journey.

Outside of teaching, Craig is a keen motorsport enthusiast and an active Freemason, regularly involved in charity work and community support. His dedication to helping others extends beyond the road—whether it's fundraising for a good cause or mentoring learners toward greater independence.
